Today I’m going to talk about a book called “Good night stories for rebellious girls”. It’s a book that was given to my daughter last year, it’s a book for kids and I think that it’s incredible. The book shows different biographies of 100 women who could do great things, without caring about stereotypes. I like it because I think it always shows women in books as princesses, delicate and in need of a prince. However, in the book they are courageous, empowered and without limits, nothing or nobody stops them. From Frida Kalo to Jane Goodall, from Coco Chanel to Nina Simone, from the Bronte sisters to Marie Curie, a hundred examples of determination and audacity for those who dream big. It Also has illustrations of 60 artist from around the world. I read it for the first time when a friend gave it to Renata and I loved it, but it was not yet for my daughter. A month ago, I read ir to he and she loved it. I’ve always tried to argue the stereotypes of my daughter; this book helps me in t

Today I’m going to talk about Freddie Mercury. He was a British singer, songwriter, record producer and lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. He is my favorite singer, I love his music and I would have liked to see him in one of his concerts. I listen to Queen since I’m a little girl, because my parents were fans of the musical group and they listened to it all the time. My dad knows all his songs. I remember that the song that I liked most was “We will rock you”, but now I think the song “Bohemian and Rhapsody” is from another world.  I love watching their concerts on YouTube. I think Freddie Mercury was a persona with a lot of passion for what he did, his tagging was fantastic, and the audience love him. I also believe that he generated an awareness about AIDS. People with this disease felt hopeful and began to let themselves be stigmatized by society. Anyway, I love Freddie Mercury and Queen. I listen to his music to this day and I never tire of doing it.

Today I’m going to talk about my friend Valeria. We met in 2003 when she arrived for first time in my school. We were six years old. We have always been best friends and I feel her as if she was my sister. She is a very good person, loyal and friendly. We had a great time together and since we are girls we do everything together. I remember the pajama parties at her home, with movies and lots of pizza and I love her big birthday parties where everybody goes. When we were 14 years old, we became girls’ scouts. It was our best years of adventures and experiences, we have matured and grown together, and we share many moments. We meet at least once a week and We go to parties, see a movie or eat something delicious. Sometimes we have days of spa and relaxation, my favorites. Valeria is a very important person in my life and I thank life for knowing her.

A walk you would like to do again

Since I was a Child, I love family vacations. I remember the long car trips to different places in Chile, but especially when we traveled to Chiloe. It was the year 2003, when I was eight years old. My parents wanted to make a travel to the South of Chile and nothing stopped they. It was long hours of trip and we had to do a lot stops in Chillan, Osorno, Valdivia, Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt. When we arrived to Puerto Montt , We had to get on a ferry to go to the island, I was very dizzy. We arrived to Chiloe and we went to Castro. I loved to the island from the first moment I saw it. The stilt houses, the green nature, the silence of the place, everything was perfect and even more, together with my family. I enjoyed more this traveled because it was very entertaining and, as I said at the beginning, I have always loved family trips. I would like to do it again because I will like to visit Chiloe again with my little daughter and I would like that she love it   , as I liked when i
